I’d like to tell you all about a conversation that happened at Braemer Art Exhibit takedown; that was humbling.
As we took down the Braemer Art Show, yesterday, July 14, 2021 a nurse coming off her shift was walking down the hall and commented at how much she enjoyed the artwork that we display. She said, “she makes many trips down that hallway each day, and still will see something new in a piece.” Then she said, “she enjoys bringing patients down that hall and stopping in front of different pieces to talk about the art, what they like, and why.” ~ Francesca Barone

Please Be Advised, The Braemer Gallery Only Accepts Professional Quality Work.
Larger pieces preferred — artwork under 16 x 20 will be eliminated.
All reasonable care will be take in handling work. GNAL does not insure your work. While the Einstein gallery is in a well lit, high traffic area, the building is open to the public, so entering the show is at your own risk. You must carry your own insurance — Braemer and GNAL are not responsible for loss or damage to artwork.
As the artwork will be displayed in a public area (in a medical facility) it should reflect suitable subject matter that is pleasant and uplifting to offer healing and joy to patients and visitors. The appropriate subject matter would include landscapes, seascapes, nature, and still life, and relate to the current theme. We have been asked to refrain from displaying portraits and very abstract/dark images. The jurors reserve the right to eliminate any artwork for the unsuitable subject matter, quality, craftsmanship, and overall professionalism. Artwork should be current and paper, boards and matting free from yellowing, stains, or wear and tear. GNAL Show Teams along with our Einstein contact act as jurors for the Einstein show. All work must be matted and/or framed, except for wrapped canvases, which must be painted on the outside edges. The work must be 2 dimensional with a properly installed braided wire for hanging. Artists will be contacted only if the work is not accepted into the show.
Thank you for your ongoing enthusiasm for this art exhibit.
